Land Art Mihai Topescu
Through a discourse specific to contemporary art, the visual artist Mihai Topescu created an art installation in nature (a form of land art) to help us rediscover beauty at another scale. By painting six hundred trees, the artist managed to create an impact, both visual and emotional, both direct and frank, transforming the forest into a space of meditation, reflection, introspection and sinking in oneself. This performance is an artistic manifesto against the massive clearing of forests, not only in Romania.
